Rose Tatting
FINALLY!! I've completed a "5 days on bus" tatting project... This project involves 1 shuttle, 1 ball of thread & 1 crochet needle ... Since I've bought the Aero Shuttle from Jane that comes with a crochet needle attached to the shuttle... So, this project became very handy and I can do it when I was outdoor. However, it took me around 5 days to complete. Of course, I didn't do it 24 hours per day la.. Everyday, I'll spend around an hour to two on this project When I'm at home, I'll do another project (hopefully I can complete by this week)... ;)
The pattern is in a strip.. Then, I need to roll it into a rose... I got this pattern from a Japanese craft friend that belongs to my friend who is also my crafting 'kaki' (means buddy)... Hehehe....

Pledge By Handmade
I just make a pledge to buy handmade for all my loved ones this coming Christmas...
Though, handmade item cost little bit more compares to 'production' made item, it is unique, special and most of all, ONE & THE ONLY ONE!... Cos, handmade item can be produced once but not twice.... Design & Look can be similar however, it is not exactly the same! Somehow to me, I cherish handmade item more because I know it is made out of love and care...
I'm a crafter and I love making beautiful things for my loved ones that remind them of our friendship...
Hence, I encourage all of my fellow friends, make a pledge today @ BUY HANDMADE
*My Pledge Number is: 799*

First Tatting Project
*Tatting is addictive...*
Well, I had attended two unofficial lessons from a friend... Finally I've completed this project:
Look simple but took me few hours to complete. I've unpick, cut & redo many times in order to get it right... Phew, finally I've completed it... I'm quite happy, though not so perfect yet.
I've pasted the pattern on a plain jewelry box. Mmm, the simple pattern makes a lot of different on the plain box! The box looks rather elegant with the pattern & beads. Don't you think so?
Per-order method: need your opinions
I may make a few of these and sell it in my Etsy store. I may do something different this time by using pre-order method. Interested buyer will place order as in size and color of the box & the yarn color (base on the available sizes I have). I'm not sure this method will work, if you have opinion, please feel free to comment.

Learning Tatting
Recently, I've picked up a very interesting hobby... Tatting.... Not many people that I know knew how to do tatting.
According to Wikipedia:
Tatting is a technique for handcrafting a particularly durable lace constructed by a series of knots and loops. Tatting can be used to make lace edging as well as doilies, collars, and other decorative pieces. The lace is formed by a pattern of rings and chains formed from a series of lark's head (or half-hitch) knots, called double stitches (ds), over a core thread. Gaps can be left between the stitches to form picots, which are used for practical construction as well as decorative effect.
Tatting dates to the early 19th century. The term for tatting in most European languages is derived from French frivolité, which refers to the purely decorative nature of the textiles produced by this technique.
Read more from WIKIPEDIA
Tatting works with two things: needle & shuttle... The most commonly used is shuttle... Shuttle looks like this:
It's amazing that you can make beautiful laces using shuttle .... It's quite difficult to learn... Fingers have to be flexible otherwise, the yarn will be entangled. Been working on it again and again for few hours...

My First Delivery
I had placed all 4 lilies carefully in a plastic container. Every item is precious and must be handled with care. Then, printed a sticker to paste on the box... Initially, I'm thinking of making a card but think sticker would be better and nicer...
Finally, I've posted out my package to Hila in Australia today... Hopefully she will like it. ;)

Beautiful Calla Lily
I've made a lot of Lilies in the month of July for my wedding. With the help of my two dear friends, Huiz and Lyllis, we completed 28 calla lilies within 1 month. These lilies we supposed to be given to my aunts as thanksgiving. However, we made too much so ended up we left around 10 more... Since they are so pretty and elegant, I had decided to sell it on Etsy.
I'm so excited when someone bought my lily... She is my first customer.. Thanks to Maniera from Australia.
Wedding Corsages
Well, ribbon corsages are very common and you can just buy ribbon flowers from Spotlight or any handicraft shops. The glued them together on the ribbon. Mmm, I do not want to do that, I prefer to make something different and I've made this wedding corsages for all my bridesmaids. I have 5 bridesmaids.. I know... A lot!!! There are my very good friends and I really wanted to be my bridesmaids.... I'm using Japanese Acrylic yarn to crochet them... I've tried with other yarn but those colors are not as vibrant compare to Japanese Yarn, though it is more expensive. You can see it very clearly in close-up view. Besides that, I add strings of beads to give a different looks to the corsage. Finally, organza ribbon is used to tie around the wrist.
My friends kept the flowers and they even asked me to convert to a brooch!! (",)
If will like to have these corsages, feel free to contact me... Normally, I'll use colors that match their bridesmaids' dresses.

Halloween Collection: NANA, the Magician...
I craft using different materials & methods. E.G. beading, crochet, making bags, felting and etc. I still love crocheting... Mmm I think because I can do it anytime at everywhere... I love to crochet doll... Crochet doll is also known as Amigurumi. Crocheting doll is the easiest because keep on repeating the same patterns. The only challenging part is to keep counting and cannot miss a count....
I'll be doing a series of collection for one of my dolls, NANA.... This is one of them.... About NANA, the Magician: Well, Nana is measured at 6" Tall and 4" wide... She has one pair of HUGE eyes. Wearing a hand-stitched cloak and hat that has small little plastic flowers on it....
